Deployment of multi-sectoral expertise to conduct a diagnosis of the country risk information management capacities
The CADRI Partnership methodology helps to identify progress, gaps and challenges in the design and operationalization of a national risk information management system that is multi-hazard, multi-sectoral, better integrated, and accessible to users at all levels. This involves mapping of user needs and the development of “National Risk Information Platforms” that bring together producers and users of risk-related information across sectors and institutions.
As part of these efforts, the CADRI Partnership is developing a training offer that focuses on general and sector-specific disaster risk assessment. The purpose is to facilitate the access to the different methodologies and tools that have been developed by UN and Non-UN institutions.
