Deployment of multi-sectoral expertise in support of inclusive and integrated risk-informed plans and programmes
We support governments to lead inclusive, integrated, multi-sectoral capacity diagnosis of their capacities to reduce disaster and climate risks and across eight (8) development sectors: Agriculture, Culture, Education, Nutrition, Environment, Infrastructure, Health, WASH. In addition, the CADRI partnership provides support for the prioritization of the recommendations put forward by the different stakeholders to address gaps and challenges identified during the capacity diagnosis.
The prioritization of recommendations resulting from this process can contribute to the design and implementation of national disaster risk reduction strategies; integrated disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation strategies; inform national development plans and UN programming frameworks; and design capacity development plans.
